The index has been helpful for real-life networking where people get directed to my writing from my website because I gave them my name to google. Then we're literally standing socially distanced outside and the index becomes a useful way to reference the story or article we just talked about.

That said, I really cringed seeing the screen from their perspective, so I’ve subsequently updated it. It wasn’t pretty visually. A better option would be to update my website's "writing" submenu with my best medium work semi-regularly...that's actually a bit more labor-intensive and doesn't solve the separate problem of having a nice simple place for all my free-links to congregate, too..

I really appreciate you writing this and the conversation surrounding it because it helps me to see that what works best for real life, socially distanced, conversations flowing smoothly might not work for new fans and internet readers.
